Shame on you, Atlanta Falcons!! (Even if you don’t care anything about football, you should read this article.)

thepoliticalfreakshow:

The Atlanta Falcons’ plan for a new stadium calls for $200 million in public money, and “for demolishing the city’s first black Baptist church, and turning the street named after [Martin Luther] King into a dead-end for stadium VIP parking.”

As a New Orleans Saints fan, I’ve always harbored some hate for the Falcons. Today, that hate became justified. Stupid dirty birds.

The FEC (Federal Election Commission) was established in 1974 in the wake of Watergate, Republican slush funds, and Richard Nixon destroying any faith Americans had in politics.
Limits were set for contributions because we learned how money corrupts elections.
Now we have conservative justices and republican activism in the courts wiping out all the rules we approved in Congress that were set to level the playing field.
The Republicans, like with Nixon in the 70s, are set to destroy any faith people have in politics.
As for free speech and the first amendment, name me one time where it says money equals speech.

Today’s Not My Boss’s Business rally at the Supreme Court in one word: awesome.

Students. Health-care providers. Women. Clergy. We all stood together to say that bosses should get to impose their views on our health-care decisions.
